I love connecting people with our exceptional financial advisors and sharing with them a simple truth: it’s much better to have your money working for you than just sitting in a bank account. At Curran Financial Partners, I get to blend my love for media with my drive for financial growth. I run our firm’s podcast, “Retire Y’all Charleston,” manage our weekend radio show and direct our social media accounts to ensure our message reaches those who need it most.
Before transitioning to the world of finance, I was a local sports anchor and reporter at WBTW News13 in Myrtle Beach. I graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, earning bachelor’s degrees in strategic communications and sports leadership and management while also playing Division I softball. My background in broadcast media and communications allows me to craft engaging content and connect with our audience on a personal level.
Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, I now call James Island, South Carolina, home. Sports remain a massive part of my life outside of the office, as I am also a freelance sports broadcaster for SECN+ and ESPN+, with college softball being my favorite sport to call. I also work as a private softball hitting and fielding instructor at East Coast Baseball Academy. When I’m not in the office, on the diamond or in a headset, you can usually find me enjoying a relaxing round of golf.
