I first became interested in financial planning while learning how to manage my wife’s and my finances. The more I learned, the more I realized it was something I didn’t just enjoy but wanted to share with others. I love getting the chance to help give clients more freedom to enjoy their retirement after years of saving. That transition from decades of saving to actually spending can be difficult, so watching clients embrace it is incredibly gratifying.
Before joining Curran Financial Partners, I worked in insurance sales. I have years of experience in retirement planning, working directly with retirees and helping them navigate investments, income, taxes, Social Security, healthcare and estate planning. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Clemson University, have passed the Series 65 securities exam, and hold life and health insurance licenses.
I am a South Carolina native and grew up in Moncks Corner, but now I live in Goose Creek with my wife, Bailey, and our dog, Hank. I am an avid outdoorsman and love hunting for ducks or turkeys, as well as saltwater fly fishing.
